Read an excellent Post today. It’s always inspirational to see a an articulate informed riposte to a storm turned bandwagon. Like many I was devastated to see Katz retired from the show. But a story follows its own path and so long as the event was following the mechanics of a path that worked within the storyline (obstacle, setback, engaging the audience / reader – strongly engaging here given the genuine and heartfelt kickback from the fannibal base) then it it’s hard to argue against it. There is of course scope for returning the character – flashback for example, and in the absence of that, one hopes that the producers will recognise the groundswell of support for the actor, character and audience reaction to work up something new to surprise and delight us all, even, if necessary, in a new setting / show. Keep up the good work Etienne!
